Sealed bids are requested for the "2026 Public Utilities Hunter Water Tank Rehabilitation Project" for the Public Utilities Department. Bids must be submitted website using electronic forms provided by the City. Paper, fax, or electronic bids outside are not accepted. Free registration with Bid Express allows bidders to review and print project plans. An electronic signature or digital ID and a per bid fee or monthly subscription are needed to submit a bid. A hard copy of minimum specifications may be viewed at the City of Fairfield Public Utilities Department. Each bidder is required to provide a bid guaranty as per Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code, with bid security in bond form issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in Ohio. A completed Non-Collusion Affidavit and Affidavit of Non-Delinquency of Personal Property Taxes must also be included. The proposal must state the full name of the party or parties submitting and all persons interested. Evidence of experiences on projects of similar size and complexity and a complete list of all subcontractors are required. Each bid must include: - Bid Bond (Certified Check or Cashier's Check for 10% of the bid or a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond for 100% of the bid) - Non-Collusion Affidavit - Affidavit of Non-Delinquency of Personal Property Taxes Bid prices must remain firm for ninety (90) days after opening. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids or correct/waive irregularities as deemed in its best interest.
