Sealed bids are requested to provide water pipe materials as specified for the Honeysuckle Road Phase I Water Main Replacement Project. All material/equipment must meet Orange Water and Sewer Authority (OWASA) standard specifications and be the kind and type specified, or an approved equivalent. All material/equipment quoted must be new and conform to OWASA Plans as well as OWASA’s Manual of Standards, Specifications, and Design, January 2025. Quoted price must include any sales or usage taxes. Delivery to OWASA and a schedule of delivery must be included, with materials required to be delivered by June 1, 2026. All bids must be valid for 60 days, notarized, and include acknowledgment of addenda. Bids will be awarded to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder, considering quality, performance, and time specified. Bidders must comply with relevant North Carolina General Statutes for bid letting and contract award. Questions about the bid must be submitted by the stated deadline. Bids and bidder responses are considered public information except for properly identified trade secrets.
