Sealed Bids are invited for CIP No. 378-08, Project: “MFWWTP DIGESTER #2 CLEANING“ at the Orange Water and Sewer Authority. The project consists of furnishing all materials, labor, equipment, tools, and associated appurtenances as required to remove all contents and clean the interior of Digester No. 2 at the Mason Farm Wastewater Treatment Plant. Bids will be received for a Single Prime Lump Sum General Construction Contract. The Contractor and all Subcontractors shall have valid North Carolina General Contractor’s Licenses for the type and value of the work to be performed. Electronic bids are not permitted and bids should be submitted according to the instructions outlined in the attachments. The digester is a 50ft diameter, 23ft side water depth tank originally constructed in 1979, operating with volumes between 700,000 gallons and 1 million gallons per month.
