The work involves the phased removal of the existing wood siding system and installation of a new fiber cement plank siding system on Buildings A, B, C, D, E, F, and G at the Job Corps Center. All existing wood siding on these buildings shall be replaced, including all required surface preparation, installation of underlayment wrap, and completion of all finishing details. All siding materials and accessories shall be compatible with the manufacturer's recommended products and installation requirements. Buildings A through F are two-story structures, and Building G is a single-story structure, with an approximate total siding area of 58,000 square feet across all elevations. All construction shall comply with applicable national and local building codes, laws, ordinances, and regulations, as well as current Environmental Protection Agency and Occupational Safety and Health Administration requirements. Where state regulations are more stringent than federal requirements, state regulations shall govern. Deviations or interpretations of applicable requirements shall be subject to approval by the Contracting Officer.
