The Board of Water Commissioners of Manchester Water Works invites sealed bids to furnish a 350-kW gas-engine-driven emergency generator, a 300-kW trailer mounted emergency engine generator, an automatic transfer switch, and a manual transfer switch. The bid will be awarded based on the character, integrity, reputation, judgment, experience, and efficiency of the bidder, as well as their ability, capacity, and skill to provide the required service and products. Consideration will also be given to delivery time, price, specifications, and product comparison. All bids must conform to the provided specifications, and those failing to meet minimum requirements will be considered unacceptable. Bids must be submitted on the supplied bid form and Vendor Information Sheet, completed in full, including delivery times with any exceptions noted, and returned in a sealed envelope marked for the Generators & Switches Bid. The bidder must be able to provide equipment submittals for review within two weeks of contract award. Materials must receive full approval by Manchester Water Works before payment on invoices. Only the specified bid form and vendor information sheets are required for submission.
