The scope of work is the procurement and delivery of chip rock for Pacific County, Washington, for use from May 1, 2026, through April 30, 2027. The successful bidder must provide all services, including delivery, necessary to furnish chip rock to specified County locations. All chip rock sources must be legally permitted and in compliance with Pacific County Zoning Ordinance and applicable regulations. Vendors must, upon request, provide proof of compliance within 24 hours. Bidders may deliver the product in their own trucks or use common carriers but must present an all-inclusive delivered price. The County may consider price, quality, and availability in making purchases and reserves the right to award bids to multiple vendors when hauling distance affects procurement prices. Instructions to bidders require all proposals to be accompanied by a bid bond equal to five percent (5%) of the total bid in certified check, cashier’s check, or surety bond, payable to the Pacific County Treasurer. Sealed bids must be delivered or mailed to the Board of County Commissioners at the specified address by 9:00 AM on the opening date, in an envelope marked accordingly. Vendors are encouraged to add themselves to the Plan Holder List to receive any addenda. The County reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities.
