The project consists of the construction of the Village of Gilboa Wastewater Collection and Treatment Project - Phase 2, which includes installing eleven (11) low pressure septic tank effluent pressure units on residential and commercial lots with complete sanitary sewerage connections from the existing soil pipe of each structure to the current Village of Gilboa low pressure wastewater collection system. The work involves on-lot sanitary sewer service connections, holding tank, pump, control panel, electrical connection, directionally bored discharge force main, and other miscellaneous items. Bids must be signed and submitted on the separate bidding forms provided, sealed in an envelope labeled as specified, and accompanied by a bid guaranty bond in the amount of 100% of the bid or a certified check, cashier's check, or letter of credit for at least 10% of the bid amount, provided by a licensed surety. The successful bidder must furnish a performance bond for 100% of the bid with a one-year warranty period after substantial completion. Contractors and subcontractors are to use Ohio products, materials, services, and labor wherever practicable. Equal employment opportunity requirements, Federal Labor Standards Provisions, Davis-Bacon wage rates, encouragement of Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE), insurance requirements, and compliance with relevant executive orders are required. Only bids from those listed as Bidders of Record, who attended the mandatory pre-bid conference and site observation, will be accepted. No mailed submissions; all bids must be hand delivered before the deadline. The Village of Gilboa reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities, irregularities, and errors as permitted by law.
