Site work for a water / sewer project in Cowley, Wyoming. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The work consists of furnishing all labor, materials, tools, equipment, transportation, and services necessary for the replacement of approximately 6,200 feet of asbestos cement water line with 6" PVC C900, and other miscellaneous work as outlined in the plans and specifications. Bids must be furnished on forms supplied by the Town of Cowley. Sealed envelopes containing bids must be clearly marked with the project name and the bidder's name and address. Bids not prepared and filed according to the instructions may be rejected. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond with sufficient surety for not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid amount. The successful bidder must enter into the contract within thirty (30) days after the award and, at the time of executing the agreement, must furnish a performance bond and a payment bond, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the bid. Facsimile or other copies of bonds are not acceptable. The bid will not be considered if not accompanied by the required bond or if not in conformance with applicable provisions. Qualified Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs) are encouraged to submit bids, and bidders using subcontractors or suppliers are required to make a good faith effort at soliciting DBE participation and must submit the Good Faith Effort Documentation form and other related forms with their bids. The contract must be let to the responsible certified resident making the lowest bid if the certified resident's bid is not more than five percent higher than the lowest responsible bidder. Preference is given to materials, supplies, agricultural products, equipment, machinery, and provisions produced, manufactured, or grown in Wyoming, or supplied by a resident of the state, if quality is equal to articles offered by competitors outside the state. The project is subject to requirements of the Build America, Buy America (BABA) Act and Davis Bacon wages. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. . Estimated construction budget range for this project is $1,100,000 to $1,400,000.
