Site work for a water / sewer project in Okanogan, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Sealed bids are being accepted for the construction of Domestic and Irrigation Main Waterlines within the Okanogan County Fairgrounds. This is a grant funded project with prevailing wage requirements. The full scope of the work is available upon request and is posted on the Okanogan County Fairgrounds website. For further details or to request a copy of the full scope of work, contact Nick Bates. The Okanogan County Fairgrounds Waterline Project consists of approx.12000' of ditching and installing 3" and 2-1/2" schedule 40 pipe approx. 12000' each, 4' deep. Water line must be bedding with sand approx. 3" of bedding sand under the pipe and 6" above the pipe. Ditching must be 50% compacted on back fill, shut off valves must be installed at each branch to the main supply line. All lines and valves must be inspected by Fairgrounds Manager, photo'd and GPS before back filling of the ditch. Any asphalt removed must be replaced across any driveways or roads. All pipe, fittings and supplies will be supplied by the Okanogan County Fairgrounds. Water line must be connected into the existing lines that aren't being replaced. Also, irrigation lines ditched as per the design to install underground sprinkler heads, size of pipe hasn't been determined yet by the designer.
