In general, the work consists of a new extension of the underground heating hot water system and connecting the existing Building A. All potential bidders must be certified by DOA prior to submitting bids on state construction projects with budgets over $100,000. Bids from non-certified contractors will be rejected. Bid submissions must include all required bid documents, including bid and bid bond forms with original wet signatures or properly transmitted electronic signatures, submitted as PDF files via the eBuilder Bidding Portal (preferred), or by US Mail, third-party delivery, or hand delivery to the specified drop box. Bidders are responsible for ensuring their sealed bid is delivered to the indicated location or submitted via the portal before the specified deadline. Construction bidding documents may be obtained only as downloadable electronic files (PDF format) from the Division of Facilities Development website or various Builders' Exchanges. No deposit is required to obtain documents for bidding purposes. A formal pre-bid tour will not be conducted, but site visits are encouraged by contacting the Building and Grounds Superintendent.
