Laramie County Community College seeks bids for the remodel of two rooms located in the Health Sciences Building on the Cheyenne, WY campus. Bidders are requested to provide separate bid pricing for each room. Health Science Room 205: Renovate the existing 591 sq ft classroom to meet the needs of lab space for LCCC students. The renovation includes new casework with counter and backsplash, wall paint, flooring, vinyl base and appropriate transitions, installation of wall protection and corner guards, and roller shades. The existing door is to be removed and upgraded to a larger door with existing hardware to be reinstalled. New plumbing is required to run within the ceiling of the first floor to accommodate a new sink with eyewash. New headwalls are owner-provided and contractor-installed. New electrical outlets and data at each bed location and headwall. Health Science Room 210: Renovate the existing 862 sq ft classroom to meet the needs of lab space for LCCC students. The renovation includes wall paint, flooring, vinyl base and appropriate transitions, installation of wall protection and corner guards, and roller shades. The existing casework will remain with no changes to plumbing necessary, and existing door and hardware to remain. Furring wall is to be installed to accommodate the installation of the owner-provided headwalls. Teaching wall visual displays to be moved and reinstalled. New electrical outlets and data at each bed location and headwall. Instructions to bidders: Bidders must provide separate bid pricing for each room. Attendance at the pre-bid conference is mandatory for Prime Contractors, who must sign in to be eligible to bid. Each Prime Contractor that attends the pre-bid and desires to bid must request pre-qualification after attending the pre-bid meeting. Vendor attendance at the pre-bid conference is required.
