The Work is described in the Construction Drawings, attached hereto as Exhibit A and incorporated by this reference. The Work consists of executing necessary repairs to a damaged sidewalk and adjacent retaining wall, and the installation of parking lot bollards in accordance with County Standards. A vehicle damaged a fence/railing and retaining wall in a parking lot located at Laramie County Senior Service Center. This parking lot is next to a significant drop-off (an 18-foot cliff) that is supported by the retaining wall. The incident involved a vehicle that came across the street at an estimated 45 miles per hour, hitting the visual delineators, and the pedestrian railing which acted as a temporary bollard during the impact.
