Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Clarksville, Virginia. Completed plans call for the construction of a bridge / tunnel.
Sealed Bids are requested for the construction of a new public dock on the John H. Kerr Reservoir in downtown Clarksville. The scope of work includes: clearing and grubbing followed by grading, stone and pavement for construction of a 335 LF by 6 ft wide trail; and construction of a deck and metal gangway bridge for completion of a 14 boat slip capacity dock. For all requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders included in the Bidding Documents. Partial funding for the project is being provided by the Recreational Trails Program of the Federal Highway Administration administered in Virginia by The Department of Conservation and Recreation and must adhere to all applicable regulations and guidance. QA date - 5-28-2026 Bidder shall submit all questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents to Engineer in writing.
