Work shall be performed under one Unified Contract. Bids shall be submitted on forms provided in the Project Manual. Bids shall be executed in accordance with Indiana Board of Accounts Form No. 96 (current Contractor's Bid) with a financial statement complying with Section III of Form No. 41, Supplemental Bid Forms (Document 004113), a satisfactory Bid Bond, or certified check pursuant to IC 36-1-12-45, payable to River Forest School Corporation. Bid security shall be in the amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total price and delivered in a sealed envelope showing the bidder's name and address. Bids shall be delivered in a sealed envelope plainly labeled to indicate the following: addressed to River Forest School Corporation, attention Kevin Trek, Superintendent, for River Forest 2026 Projects, and the time and return address of the bidder. Should a successful bidder withdraw the bid or fail to execute satisfactory contract, the owner may then declare the bid deposit forfeited as liquidated damages.
