The project consists of constructing new City streets for a residential development. The work also includes sanitary and water main extensions, storm sewer, and site grading. All work except asphalt and concrete must be completed by November 20, 2026. Asphalt and concrete work are to be completed in 2027. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract and shall be on a unit price basis as indicated in the Bid Form. Bids must be submitted electronically through QuestCDN.com, and all prospective bidders must be on the plan holders list through Quest CDN for bids to be accepted. No proposal will be accepted unless accompanied by a certified check or bid bond equal to at least 5% of the amount bid, payable to the Owner, as a guarantee. The original certified check or bid bond must be delivered within 72 hours of the bid opening. Bidders are required to submit a Bidders Proof of Responsibility and provide performance and payment bonds of 100 percent of bid amount. The City of Bloomer reserves the right to reject all bids without cause and accept the bid that is in the best interest of the City.
