Limit - CTH AA TO TO STH 29 The purpose of this study is to evaluate existing conditions along USH 53 from CTH AA to STH 29. After existing conditions have been evaluated, alternative development would aim to address safety, traffic congestion and traffic operations, and mobility along the corridor and interchanges through the NEPA process. To study the betterment of safety and mobility on the corridor and interchanges. To complete a traffic analysis and study traffic operations including microsimulation. Complete environmental document type determination and development of the documents. Analysis to include engineered alternatives (30%) resulting in a preferred alternative and subsequent approved environmental document. Agency, governmental, and public communication are required. This solicitation will include pre-NEPA planning work that will be used to inform the NEPA process. Upon completion of the environmental document and approval for construction enumeration, information obtained during this planning study will be used by WisDOT in the future when considering the preliminary engineering, final design, and final PS&E packages associated with the project.
