Furnishing all labor and materials necessary for the construction of Project #22-1046, 500 Block Alley between 58th Street and 57th Street, including removing existing pavement (including brick pavers), staking, placing 1% aggregate base, sealing and adjusting manholes, installing new 8-inch concrete pavement, and any other incidental items necessary to complete the work as shown on the plans and specifications. Sealed bids must be received in a sealed envelope marked with the project number and bid date. Each bid must include the full name of every person or company interested and be accompanied by a contract and bid bond, certified check, or cashier's check for five percent (5%) of the bid, payable to the City of Kenosha, as a guarantee that a contract will be entered into and its performance properly secured within fifteen (15) days of the award if the bid is accepted. The successful bidder must furnish Worker's Compensation and Liability Insurance as specified. The Bidder's Proof of Responsibility form must be completed and returned not less than five days before the date of bid opening. Bidders must comply with Section 5.001 of the Code of General Ordinances for the City of Kenosha regarding Protection In Public Bidding. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids or accept any bid considered most advantageous to the City.
