Site work for a playground / park / athletic field in Charlotte Amalie, Virgin Islands. Completed plans call for site work for a 1,562-square-foot playground / park / athletic field.
The Virgin Islands Housing Finance Authority invites sealed bids from qualified, experienced, and properly licensed contractors authorized to conduct business in the U.S. Virgin Islands. The work to be performed includes all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, and services necessary for the Frenchtown Playground Equipment Project located in Frenchtown, St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands. The project consists of the demolition and removal of existing playground equipment and installation of a new playground system. This includes, but is not limited to: installation of approximately 1,562 square feet of poured-in-place safety surfacing, site grading and restoration, installation of new playground equipment, removal of an existing swing set, installation of two metal benches, and repainting of the playground enclosure walls. All work must be performed in strict accordance with the Contract Documents, applicable building codes, FEMA requirements, and all federal and territorial regulations. The Contractor shall: Remove and properly dispose of the existing playground system in its entirety Remove and dispose of the existing swing set and all associated components Remove all anchoring hardware, footings (as required), and debris Protect surrounding structures, fencing, and adjacent surfaces during demolition Always maintain a clean and safe worksite Dispose of all materials in accordance with applicable environmental regulations Scheduling o The services shall be completed within 274 days of the Notice to Proceed. o Prioritize roofing and water-intrusion repairs first to prevent further interior damage Question Deadline 05/29/2026 at 11.59 PM AT via the Authority's e-Procurement platform
