Sealed proposals are requested for the following: 39,443 square yards of single sealcoat with RS-2PM (E-2M)/CRS-2PM (E-3M). Liquidated damages apply at a rate of $975.00 per calendar day. Proposals must be provided on the forms supplied by the municipality. Bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond for 10% of the bid amount, payable to the municipality, for third class cities. For other municipalities, this is at their discretion. A performance bond or certified check for 100% of the contract amount must be provided by the successful bidder within 20 days of contract award. The municipality reserves the right to reject any or all proposals. The contractor is required to furnish and deliver all materials and perform all work on the project in accordance with drawings and specifications on file at East Carroll Township.
