Sealed bids will be received by the City of East Peoria for the Logans Conference Center Drive Walking Path project. Bidders must be able to submit, if requested, an Illinois Department of Transportation Pre-qualification Statement prior to awarding the project. Failure to submit this statement within 24 hours upon request may result in rejection of the bid. Each bid must include two completed copies of the Bid Documents and be accompanied by a bid guarantee (bid bond, certified check, or cashier's check payable to the City of East Peoria) in the amount of 5% of the total bid. Failure to submit the required bid guarantee is cause for rejection of the bid. Bids are subject to the provisions of the "Illinois Prevailing Wage Act." The owner reserves the right to waive irregularities and to accept or reject any or all bids as deemed in the owner's best interest.
