Provide services for the installation of new process equipment components being installed in the Fiber Innovation Center Building. The filtration house project will be comprised of the following: The Gaston College FIC Carding Room contains the textile equipment used for manufacturing and is located in the Truetzschler Room of the Fiber Innovation Center. Provide and install all new breakers in the switchboards as indicated, new breaker types and AIC ratings shall match existing. Provide and install new transformer and disconnect, 480V to 400Y/231V, 150 KVA Dry Type Transformer as indicated on the plans. Provide and install new panel as indicated on the plans, riser diagram and panel schedule. Provide new cable tray and conduits throughout the space serving all equipment for a complete and operational system, cable tray and conduit shall be routed as high as possible just below the existing ductwork and as directed by the owner. All manufacturing equipment is provided by the owner. The contractor shall provide and install all cable tray, conduit, conductors, and associate appurtenances for a complete and functioning system. Refer to Interconnection Diagrams for connection requirements. Provide all new interconnection wiring for all equipment. Interconnection Diagrams included for reference only. Bids shall be made only on the BID/ACCEPTANCE form provided herein with all blank spaces for bids properly filled in and all signatures properly executed. Should the bidder find discrepancies in, or omission from, the drawings or documents or should he be in doubt as to their meaning, he shall at once notify the designer who will send written instructions in the form of addenda to all bidders. Contractors are hereby notified that they must have proper license under the State laws governing their respective trades and that North Carolina General Statute 87 will be observed in receiving and awarding contracts. General Contractors must have general license classification for HVAC Contractors license. No bid may be withdrawn after the opening of bids for a period of 30 days. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive informalities.
