The Town seeks sealed bids from licensed and qualified General Contractors to furnish all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, and services necessary to construct the Building Department Addition and related improvements. The Work shall be performed in strict accordance with the Plans and Specifications issued with this ITB, together with all addenda and Contract Documents. The Plans and Specifications control the quantities, limits, materials, finishes, technical requirements, and construction details for the Project. The Work includes, but is not limited to, the following Building Addition Construction: Construct the building addition, including foundations, structural components, building envelope, architectural work, and related appurtenances shown in the Plans and Specifications. All Work shall comply with the Florida Building Code and applicable federal, state, and local requirements. MEP Systems: Furnish, install, connect, test, and commission all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems required for the addition, including tie-ins to existing systems where shown or required by the Plans and Specifications. Site Work and Utilities (As Applicable): Perform all required site preparation and restoration within the Project limits, including excavation, backfill, grading, concrete flatwork, utility coordination, and modifications necessary to integrate the addition with existing site and utility systems. Interior and Exterior Finishes: Provide all interior and exterior finishes shown or required, including doors, hardware, windows, drywall, ceilings, flooring, paint, trim, and related architectural components. Coordination with Town and A/E: Coordinate all Work with the Town, the Architect/Engineer of Record, and any other contractors or Town operations at or adjacent to the Project site to ensure proper sequencing, minimize disruption to ongoing municipal operations, and deliver a complete, codecompliant addition. The Town is soliciting bids from licensed and qualified contractors for a building addition project at the Town's municipal facilities. It is the intent of the Town to award a single contract to the lowest responsive and responsible Bidder whose bid has been submitted in full compliance with the Bidding Documents and is not materially or mathematically unbalanced. All Work shall be performed in accordance with the Plans and Specifications. Product selections, material finishes, and other requirements identified in the Plans shall govern the Work. No substitutions will be permitted without prior written approval from the Architect/Engineer (A/E), the Town Building Official, and the Town Manager.
