As of April 22,2024, this project has not yet been awarded. The project is expected to be awarded on April 25,2024. The qualified firm(s) will develop and present the scope of services, meeting the Town needs. The work to be undertaken includes, but is not limited to the following: 1) Disconnect the air-return in both bathrooms and cap off. Keep the vent opening for fresh air. 2) Install a 10" roof gooseneck vent on the roof. 3) Install a 6" flex ductwork line in both bathrooms, to be connected from the roof gooseneck to the fresh air opening. 4) Add two bathroom exhaust vents in the ladies bathroom, over the toilets, and relocate the existing vent to be over the toilet. 5) Repair all drywall, including tape, plastering, and sanding, and have it ready for paint. 6) Paint all of the repaired areas to match existing paint. 7) Repair or replace water damaged vanity. All bids must include Public Entity Crime Form and Drug Free Workplace Form. Appropriate forms are included in the bid package for execution and submission. The Town of Indian River Shores reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, waive any informality or irregularity on any bid if considered non-substantial by the Town, and/or cancel this invitation at will. Bids received after the date and time stipulated herein will be considered late and therefore, disqualified. The Town will not answer any verbal bidder questions during pre-bid inspections. All bidder questions must be presented by email to the Procurement Manager at purchasing@irshores.com. Parties interested in submitting a response to this request agree not to "lobby" Town Council Members or any employees or agent of the Town at any time during the solicitation period and selection process. Such communications initiated by a bidder shall be grounds for disqualifying the offending bidder from consideration for award of the bid and/or any future bid or bid. The Town Manager reserves the right to accept or reject any/all bids in whole or in part and to waive any technicality or irregularity.
