Work includes the paving of various roads within the township. Prequalification of bidders is required in accordance with section 102.01 (b) of the Standard Specification. 1 mile of road 20 feet wide bid ( minimum 3 miles of road work and Maximum of 6 miles will be awarded). Exact roads will be identified at latter date. All roads are in Green Garden Township. Bid shall include application of HFP bituminous at a spray rate of .35 and application of CM- 16 from stock pile at road district facility. Contractor to furnish and apply HFP bituminous material, labor, traffic control, rubber tire roller and all areas of work to be cleaned with a broom prior to seal coating Bruns Rd West of Center Rd. 3750' Existing roadway shall be milled 2.5 inches. First application will be 1.75 inches of HMA binder. Second application will be 1.25 Inches of HMA surface mix with 2% crown finish. Project includes application of a prime coat .10 Lbs. per Square Foot. Butt joints shall be placed at mainline ends at all driveways. This work shall be considered incidental to hot mix asphalt surface. All butt joints, prime coat, milling and all other incidental work shall be included in the price per ton of asphalt. Job will need approximately 1360 tons of asphalt. All Millings can be disposed at the road district yard. Prequalification in type of work being, bidder IDOT requirements is required for this project.
