Sealed proposals are requested for the following work: 1,478 square yards of milling of bituminous pavement, 67 tons of Superpave scratch and leveling course (9.5 mm) in place, and 133 tons of Superpave wearing course (9.5 mm) in place. Proposals must be submitted on forms provided by the Municipality. Bids for third class cities must include a certified check or bid bond for 10% of the bid, payable to the municipality. For other municipalities, this is at their discretion. The successful bidder must provide a performance bond or certified check for 100% of the contract within 20 days of award. Liquidated damages are set at $975.00 per calendar day. The Municipality reserves the right to reject any or all proposals.
