RFQ - HUD Lead-Hazard Reduction Program: Lead-Based Paint Hazard Remediation and Construction Services Quotes are requested for the HUD Lead-Hazard Reduction Program for Lead-Based Paint Hazard Remediation and Construction Services at specified properties. The work includes furnishing all labor, material, and equipment, and performing all necessary and incidental work in accordance with the defined scope. Bidders must attend a mandatory Pre Quote/Job Walk Meeting for all properties. Quotes must be submitted electronically using the required forms, including proof of contractor’s license, CDPH and EPA certification, and insurance coverage, with a cover letter. Contractors must ensure timely receipt of their quote by the specified deadline. All quotes must be clearly labeled as instructed. Contractors are responsible for correct and timely delivery; late or misdelivered quotes will not be considered. Each contractor, by submitting a quote, agrees to execute the standard contract and associated forms if awarded. The contract requires proof of all specified insurance coverage, proper licensing and certifications (including B-General Building Contractor License, CDPH Lead Related Construction Program certifications, current CPDH certificates for supervisors and workers, and EPA "Lead-Safe" Certification), and compliance with penalty provisions for delays or non-compliance. Work must begin within the stated period after notice to proceed and be completed within thirty calendar days.
