New Buffalo Area Schools is requesting proposals from qualified contractors for the furnishing, delivery, removal, and installation of corridor lockers at both the High School and Middle School campuses. The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, delivery, installation, and coordination necessary to complete the locker replacement project. Work includes furnishing and installing new lockers, removing existing lockers where indicated, providing recessed trims, fillers, closure panels, accessories, numbering, and built-in locks, anchoring lockers to floors and walls, coordinating with district schedules, protecting surrounding areas, and disposing of removed materials offsite unless otherwise directed. High School work includes providing 229 standard duty single tier lockers (18"W x 15"D x 72"H), with removal in specified wings. Middle School work includes providing 164 lockers of the same size, plus 14 lockers (24"W x 15"D x 72"H), and removing approximately 239 recessed lockers. Quantities and dimensions must be field verified prior to ordering. Lockers must meet specified construction standards, color, and ADA requirements. Installation must be to manufacturer requirements and include all necessary adjustments and repairs. Bidders must submit product data, shop drawings, color samples, warranty documentation, installation schedules, lead times, and references. The proposal should include base bid price, alternate pricing, labor and material breakouts, warranty information, lead times, and any exceptions. The district reserves the right to reject proposals, waive informalities, and modify the scope as needed. Site visits are recommended prior to submitting proposals, and the scope may be adjusted based on field conditions. The successful contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, delivery, installation, and coordination necessary to complete the locker replacement project.
