Site work for a bridge / tunnel in Westfield, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel.
The Project Team shall identify and compare reasonable alternatives and strategies that address the purpose and need statements for the project that are included in the request for proposals. The phase of the work will include but not be limited to data collection, coordination, review of the congressional district spending requests, site visits, map creation, photos, review of problem areas, observations of the corridor, research, historical review and development of reasonable number of prudent and feasible conceptual alternatives. All aspects of the alternatives are to be investigated and included in the deliverables including, environmental, right of way, access, utilities, designs and constructability at a planning level effort appropriate to satisfy the NJDOT capital project delivery process. A large portion of this project shall also consist of public involvement, such as outreach, public hearings, meeting with residents, meeting with businesses, pop up informational sessions, information collection and any other public involvement requests made by the County and or NJDOT. All questions shall be submitted in writing and directed to Ricardo Matias, County Engineer, at Ricardo.Matias@ucnj.org.
