Site work and new construction of a pre-engineered storage facility in Marathon, New York. Completed plans call for the construction of a 2,520-square-foot pre-engineered storage facility.
The project involves the construction of a salt storage building for the Cortland County Soil and Water Conservation District. The structure should measure approximately 42 feet by 60 feet and must provide a minimum storage capacity of 2,000 tons of salt/sand mix. Comprehensive construction services are required, including, but not limited to: concrete foundations, building construction, framing, bracing, barrier wall/lining, ventilation, trim, roofing, exterior protective stain, and provision of stamped drawings. The structure must conform to the New York State Office of General Services salt storage specifications. MBE and WBE businesses are encouraged to respond. Bids must be mailed, as electronic submissions will not be accepted. The District Board of Directors reserves the right to refuse any or all bids and re-advertise if necessary.
