Renovation of an educational facility in Marathon, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Sealed bids are requested for a single prime contract for General Trades Work as part of the 2026-27 Capital Outlay Project at the Marathon Central School District. The work must be performed in accordance with the Drawings, Project Manual, and other Bidding and Contract Documents prepared by Hunt Engineers, Architects, Land Surveyors & Landscape Architect, DPC. The documents outline requirements such as demolition, conservation treatment for period masonry, rough carpentry, fire and smoke assembly identification, firestopping, aluminum doors and frames, door hardware, and dimensional letter signage. Bidders must comply with specified employment conditions, minimum wage rates, and provide relevant certifications and bonds as indicated in the instructions. Bids must be submitted in duplicate, using forms furnished, and accompanied by a certified check or Bid Bond payable to the Owner according to the terms described. The Owner reserves the right to waive informalities or reject any and all bids, provided that no Bidder may withdraw their bid before forty-five days after the bid opening, except for errors as stipulated in the requirements. All questions prior to bid opening must use the provided Request for Information form. Additional site visits may be arranged by appointment.
