Description

Renovation of a municipal facility in Wrangell, Alaska. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

The work consists of all activities necessary to construct the Public Safety Building Rehabilitation project. The work includes repair and renovations to the exterior siding and wall structure damaged by water infiltration and to damaged exterior gypsum wallboard, replacement of doors, windows, and metal roofing, removal of existing flat membrane roofing areas, including structural sheathing, to repair horizontal structure, and extension of the sloped roof construction over flat roof areas. The estimated construction cost range for the Public Safety Building Rehabilitation Base Bid and Additive Alternate 1 is approximately $4.4M - $4.7M. All iron, steel, manufactured products, and construction materials used in this project must be produced in the United States, as specified by the Build America, Buy America Act (BABAA) requirements under Title IX of the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA), and related regulations.
