The project involves street resurfacing on the following streets: Highland Avenue (from Indian Point Road to Bayview Avenue), Rhyner's Lane (from Highland Avenue to end), Bayview Avenue (from Indian Point Road to Swanson Court), Waldeck Drive (from Indian Point Road to Indian Point Road), and two alternative bids on Bonnie Brae Avenue (from Indian Point Road to Highland Drive) and Swanson Court (from Lance Drive to Bayview Avenue). The approximate work includes street pulverizing of 15,000 square yards and placement of 3,400 tons of hot-mix asphalt pavement. The listed quantities may change without notice prior to document distribution. Portions of the project are funded through a Local Road Improvements grant from the Wisconsin Department of Transportation. Instructions to bidders include the requirement to deposit bid security amounting to 5% of the maximum bid amount. The Village of Twin Lakes reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities in any bid. Work includes full-depth milling, shaping and shouldering, compacting of asphalt millings to produce an acceptable crown, and overlaying hot-mix asphalt pavement on various streets in the Village of Twin Lakes. Work consists of the following: 1. The plan set shows the locations of all streets to be resurfaced. Base bid streets include Highland Avenue, Rhyner's Lane, Bay View Avenue, and Waldeck Drive. Alternate bid items are included for Bonnie Brae Avenue and Swanson Court. 2. Bid quantities are subject to change. Actual location of removals will be marked by the Village prior to construction. Bidders must be pre-qualified with the Village of Twin Lakes within the last year or be pre-qualified for this work 5 days prior to the bid deadline in accordance with Section 66.0901 of the Wisconsin Statutes. Bidders must be experienced in municipal pipeline construction. Question Deadline 06/19/2026 Bidder shall submit all questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents to Engineer in writing. Questions received less than five days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered.
