The scope of work includes new concrete curb gutter and sidewalk, curb ramps, a midblock crossing, RRFB’s, pedestrian refuge, raised concrete and asphalt crosswalks, pavement markings, striping, signage and landscaping. Coloma St. will be rehabilitated with a 2” grind and overlay. The Consultant will provide Construction Management and Construction Inspection services for the project. Services include appointing a Construction Manager to act as the City's primary point-of-contact, attending all meetings and briefings designated by the City, managing crews for observation and documentation of construction activities, ensuring contractor compliance with applicable codes, regulations, construction drawings, specifications, and quality control required by the contract documents, issuing correction notices and Notices of Non-Compliance as required, and notifying the City in writing if work does not conform to contract documents. The Consultant is to monitor project progress, report issues to the City, coordinate with the contractor, maintain and submit daily diaries of activities, progress, manpower, weather conditions, equipment and materials delivered, note occurrences affecting contract costs or schedule, keep track of visitors, and record any non-conforming work or materials, along with actions taken. The proposer should be available to work as required upon receipt of a Notice to Proceed and must complete all tasks for construction management and inspection within 60 calendar days.
