Site work for a water / sewer project in Clintwood, Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Separate sealed bids are requested for the Backbone Ridge Phase V – Gilbert Drive Water Line Replacement Project for the Dickenson County Public Service Authority. The work consists of 8,600 linear feet of 6-inch waterline, 3,200 linear feet of ¾-inch waterline, 45 water meters, and all related appurtenances. Bids must be submitted electronically. Each bidder must be licensed as a Class A contractor in Virginia. Bid security is required as specified. This project is federally assisted and requires compliance with specific federal statutes, executive orders, and acts, including but not limited to: President's Executive Orders 11246, 11375, 12138, and 11625; the Civil Rights Act of 1964; the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974; the Davis-Bacon Act; the Copeland “Anti-kickback” Act; the Contract Work Hours and Safety Standards Act; and the American Iron and Steel requirement. MBE/WBE firms are encouraged to submit bids. Bidders must certify they will not maintain or provide segregated facilities for employees. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. The owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids if it is in their best interest.
