Site work for a municipal facility in Pacolet, South Carolina. Working plans call for site work for a municipal facility.

As of 6/29/2026, this project has been postponed until further notice. The Town of Pacolet is seeking proposals from qualified contractors for land clearing and site preparation services on Town-owned property adjacent to the Public Works Garage at 980 Sunny Acres Road, Pacolet, South Carolina. The purpose of the project is to create a centralized municipal yard debris disposal and staging area for limbs, brush, and wood chips collected curbside by the Town of Pacolet Public Works Department. The site to be cleared is Spartanburg County Tax Parcel No. 3-29-04-020.01, which is approximately 2.81 acres. The Town intends to retain substantial vegetative buffers around the property perimeter while creating an approximate 1.5-acre clearing in the center for municipal use. The selected contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, supervision, hauling, materials, permits, erosion control measures, and incidentals necessary to complete the project as a turnkey operation. The scope of work generally includes, but is not limited to, land clearing and retention of buffers.
