Marion Wastewater Treatment Plant and Collection System Upgrades Project Contract 1 Headworks Improvements and Ras / Was Pump Installation Installation of new influent pumps, RAS pump, WAS pumps, and blowers for aeration/clarifier basins and headworks; removal and replacement of screens and headworks; replacement of diffusers. The principal items of work are detailed herein below for the Contractor to furnish and install : Principal Work: 1. Install New Influent Pumps 2. Install New RAS Pump 3. Install New WAS Pumps 4.Install New Blowers (Aeration/_Clarifier Basin and Headworks) 5. Replace Diffusers (Additive Alternate) 6. Remove and Replace Screens and Headworks (Additive Alternate) Bonds: 100% Performance Bond, 100% Payment Bond. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda mailed or delivered to all parties recorded by Engineer as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received less than ten days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. Only questions answered by Addenda will be binding. Oral and other interpretations or clarifications will be without legal effect.
