Sealed bids are requested for the provision and erection of a steel cold storage building at Laurelton Fire Company No. 1, Station 23-2, 259 Van Zile Road, Brick, New Jersey. Bids must be enclosed in a sealed envelope marked "Cold Storage Building" and delivered to the Board of Fire Commissioners of Fire District No. 2, Township of Brick, at 253 Brick Boulevard, Brick, New Jersey, by the deadline. Bids may not be faxed, transmitted over the telephone, or emailed. Bidders are expected to examine existing conditions at the project site. Required submissions include an Ownership Disclosure Form, a Non-Collision Affidavit, proof of registration with the New Jersey Department of Treasury, Division of Revenue (Business Registration Certificate), and proof of registration under "The Public Works Contractor Registration Act" with the New Jersey Department of Labor. Compliance with the New Jersey Prevailing Wage Act and Affirmative Action requirements is mandatory. No bidder may withdraw their proposal for sixty (60) calendar days after the opening of proposals. The Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids not deemed to be in the best interest of the Fire District. Prospective bidders are cautioned to read all bid documents in their entirety for full requirements and provisions.
