Sealed proposals are invited from qualified firms to provide site planning, infrastructure/utility analysis, and engineering services for the Washington County Heritage Trails County Park located in the Town of Polk, just south of Highway 60 at 4668 County Highway E, Slinger, WI 53086. The contractor will develop a site plan and provide infrastructure/utility analysis and engineering services for various new potential amenities, including restrooms/multipurpose space for future tenants, campsites, lighting, parking, and necessary utilities for the facilities. The work must take into account existing amenities, such as mountain bike trails, Youth Skills Area, disc golf course, hiking trails, and a shooting range. Tasks include conducting a site analysis, making recommendations for the best and most cost-effective use of the space, developing a site plan, providing construction cost estimates, and assessing the feasibility of amenities. Firms must have proven, successful experience in park site planning for similar sized communities, preferably in Wisconsin, including some or all of the desired amenities, and must have completed at least three similar projects in the past ten years. Responses must include at least three reference projects for verification.
