Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Beaufort, North Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

The Project consists of the removal of existing asphalt surface, concrete subgrade, CABC subgrade, unsuitable materials, and establishing a stable roadway suitable for construction proposed pavement sections along Broad Street from Queen Street to Gordon Street (Sheets C203, C204, & C205), Live Oak Street (Sheet C206), Belle Air Street from Front Street to the end of the street (Sheet 2C01 & 2C02), and associated drainage infrastructure. The project will also include the milling and overlay of various Town streets. Contractors are notified that North Carolina G.S. 87 relating to licensing of contractors will be observed in receiving bids and awarding contracts. For all further requirements regarding bid submittal, bid security, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders that are included in the Bidding Documents. The Town of Beaufort reserves the right to waive any informalities, to reject any or all bids, and to accept that Bid or Bids which appear to be in the Owner's best interest. Doc Notes: The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is Rivers & Associates, Inc. Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM local time, and may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office as described below. Checks for Bidding Documents shall be payable to "Rivers & Associates, Inc.". Upon request and receipt of the document deposit indicated above, the Issuing Office will transmit the Bidding Documents. The date that the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered the Bidder's date of receipt of the Bidding Documents. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office.
