Submit questions via email to tim.bybee@big-d.com The description of the work includes various architectural , structural , HVAC, plumbing and electrical improvements. Replacement of existing roof with new standing seam metal roof, with associated fascia, insulation, interior liner fabric, snow stop, gutter and downspouts. Replacement of exterior windows, man doors, and windows. Remodel of an existing restroom and storage space into (2) ADA accessible restrooms with associated plumbing, electrical and HVAC improvements. Work in shop to include installation of free standing 5-ton bridge crane with associated foundation, steel structure, and electrical . Replacement of concrete floor and sewer re-routing per plan. 1. Provide demolition for all HVAC systems and components. 2. Provide new exhaust fans, air outlets and inlets. 3. Provide electric wall heaters. 4. Provide final cleaning of equipment, ductwork, piping, etc. to remove any dust that accumulated during construction. 5. Provide access doors where valves, cleanouts, chases, dampers, are concealed behind hard, inaccessible surfaces finishes. 6. Division 23 must be fully coordinated with Division 22 and 26 to ensure that all required components of the work are included and fully understood. No additional cost shall be accrued to the Owner or General Contractor as a result of lack of coordination. 7. Notwithstanding anything shown otherwise in the plans and specifications, provide all conduit and wire for low voltage, including wall thermostats. 8. Provide all penetration and joint firestopping for this scope of work. Maintain fire and sound rating in walls/ceilings/floors penetrated. Any penetration through a rated assembly shall be fire-stopped with a UL-Listed assembly acceptable to the Engineer and MA Architects.
