Site work and new construction of a municipal facility in New Buffalo, Michigan. Completed plans call for the construction of a 7,200-square-foot, one-story above grade municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.

Construction of a 60' x 120' cold storage building including concrete pads, post-frame construction, trusses, sidewall and roof framing, and steel siding and roofing. Bidder to provide basic drawings that can be sent to an engineer for approval/stamp. Building to include the following: (3) ply 2x8 posts set on poured concrete pads. Posts set 8' on center and 3'6" into ground . (2) uplift cleats attached to each post. Pre-engineered trusses set 4' on center with a 3.5/12 pitch. Trusses set on notched posts where applicable. 50# ground/snow loading. Sidewall and roof framing - 2"x8" treated along bottom for skirt board, then 2"x6", spaced 2' on center for side girts and roof purlins. (2) 18" LVL headers at top of posts for truss supports. Roofing and siding - 28 gauge painted steel fastened with color matching screws. 12" overhang on back side and both ends of building. 36" overhang on the front side. Steel soffit (vented in sides), 2"x8" fascia board covered with trim. Ridge cap to have vented sealer strips House wrap installed under side metal up to ceiling height. 6" Seamless guttering and snowguard trim installed along eaves of building. (4) 3/0x6/8 (white) steel entrance doors (keyed lever latches) installed. (2) of the doors with 9-lite 1/2 glass window. (8) 14'wx 14'h insulated (white) steel garage doors with a row of plain windows installed . Garage door openings to be trimmed with 4" wide trim. All doors to have electric openers installed. If bidder would like to submit an equivalent building with different specs please include notes in the bid as to the proposed variation. Concrete Work: Contractor to prepare final grade, compact, and pour 6" concrete floor. Concrete to have a smooth finish , 4,000 psi mix reinforced with 3/8 re-bar at 3' centers, stress cuts and have a cure and seal applied. 24" of the 2" thick Styrofoam placed around perimeter of building. Exterior concrete includes a 5'x 120'x 6" approach along the front side of building. Concrete to have a broom finish, reinforced with 3/8 rebar at 3' centers, stress cuts, and have a cure and seal applied. Install (16) 6" steel posts in front of the garage doors. Posts to be set in and filled with concrete.
