Reference Number 0000329091 Marine Atlantic Inc. (MAI) invites offers from qualified Vendors for the NSY Alt Dock Scour Pad Upgrades Project. The project is located at the Marine Atlantic Ferry Terminal site in North Sydney, Nova Scotia. The Work generally includes, but it is not necessarily limited to, the following: Mobilization and demobilization, including all labor and equipment as specified and as required to carry out the work. Perform a diver-assisted pre-construction survey of the scour pad area sufficient to confirm pad limits, orientation, top-of-pad elevations, seabed elevations, and obstructions. Submit an as-found sketch and survey notes identifying any discrepancies from the Contract Drawings and obtain Owner's Representative direction prior to proceeding. Coordinate with the Assistant Terminal Manager (ATM) on-site to remove existing damaged scour pads within the defined repair footprint as specified on the drawings according to the on-site safety program. Dispose the scour pads and concrete blocks collected from the harbour floor to designated disposal site, complying with site specific environmental protection plan. Place clear stone material in scoured / undermined area to provide a level surface for new precast concrete scour pads to be placed. Supply and install new precast concrete scour pads at the locations and elevations shown; ensure stable seating and alignment. Place tremie concrete scour mitigation at the offshore edge as shown on the Drawings. Perform final diver inspection with the Owner/Owner's Representative to confirm debris removal and completion of works; correct deficiencies identified. Remove debris material and clean the work site to restore it to the conditions prior to mobilization. Contractor shall perform the work included as indicated on the drawings in this specification by providing all supervision, labour, materials, supplies, construction tools, equipment and services, hoisting, transportation, receiving, handling, storage, disposal, and all other services and expenditures, unless otherwise specified in the scope, including those not specifically mentioned but which are necessary for completion of work.
