The work generally includes, but is not necessarily limited to, mobilization and demobilization, including all labor and equipment as specified and as required to carry out the work; demolition of existing oil-fired furnaces, fuel oil piping, storage tanks and accessories, and ductwork, as indicated on drawings; supply and installation of new air handling units, outdoor heat pump units and refrigeration piping, as indicated on the drawings; supply and installation of new ductwork and electric heating coils as indicated on drawings; supply and installation of energy management control system (EMCS), as indicated on drawings; supply and installation of a new utility electrical service, including but not limited to switchboard, concrete pad, transformers, and panelboards; supply and installation of a new fire-rated electrical room; supply and installation of a new connection to the existing electrical service equipment. Marine Atlantic reserves the right to accept tenders in whole or in part. The lowest or any tender will not necessarily be accepted. Proposals must be received by the closing date and hour. Late proposals will not be considered.
