Reference Number 0000285039 Question Acceptance Deadline 2025/01/21 02:00:00 PM AST Marine Atlantic Inc. (MAI) invites suppliers to provide project management and general engineering consulting services for the Operations department of MAI. In the performance of the services, the Successful Proponent will work with the Operations department to plan and deliver portions of its shore-based program and the individual projects within the program, as required. The services will include, but are not limited to: i. in conjunction with MAI's Operation department, maintain and develop the shore- based long-term (5 year) capital plan, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives, financial considerations, and future goals; ii. develop and submit specifications for tender documents or other forms of solicitations/contracts inclusive of estimated schedules, budgets and other requirements that MAI would require for internal approval of projects; in conjunction with MAI's Operation department, establish and maintain a documentation control program that provides a document retrieval and monitoring/reporting function; iv. oversee document control and administration of projects within the scope of the contract; V. reporting of overall status of various projects, including contract, budget and schedule implications; vi. the co-ordination required to integrate all aspects of assigned services, including internal/third-party resources and stakeholders; vii. direct and coordinate the work of any subconsultants, architects, engineers, and any other advisors or consultants retained by the Successful Proponent or MAI for any project; viii. provide construction oversight through documentation review, site visits and in the capacity of the "Owner's Representative" pursuant to CCDC contract arrangements; ix. establish/maintain/report on logistics and major milestones for individual projects; X. prepare project timeline schedules in conjunction with the project management team for each project; xi. other services that MAI and the Successful Proponent may agree reasonable and appropriate to achieve the required services; xii. participate in capital planning as well as budget review and analysis for MAI; xiii. conduct condition assessments as required; xiv. work with MAI's Communications department to establish an appropriate communications framework to disseminate project information to internal and external parties; and XV. other related matters.
