The project includes constructing a new 6’ wide sidewalk behind the existing granite curbing on a portion of the westerly sideline of Broadway and reconstruction a portion of existing sidewalk on the easterly sideline of Broadway from Husson Avenue to Grandview Avenue in Bangor, and other incidental work, including resetting curb, adding A crosswalk and pedestrian signals at the intersection of Grandview Avenue and Broadway. The Broadway Pedestrian Improvements Project is a Maine Federal Aid Project No. STP 2561(700)X, MeDOT WIN 25617.00, located on Broadway beginning just north of Husson Avenue Road and extending northerly to Grandview Avenue for a total of 0.13 miles. Bid security in the amount of 5% of the bid price will be required in the form of cash, a certified check or bid bond. This project is subject to the Federal Labor Standards Provisions and Davis-Bacon Wage Rate Determination. All work shall be governed by State of Maine
