Remodeling and renovation of a military facility in Kittery, Maine. Completed plans call for the remodel of a military facility.
Project Description: The project includes upgrading fire suppression systems in the building to meet current code requirement. The project includes adding fire suppression sprinklers in locations where they don't currently exist, replacing existing sprinkler heads, upgrading sprinkler risers and backflow preventers, and other items. Phasing and coordination with Shipyard operations is paramount and mission critical elements need to remain fully operational throughout the duration of the project. Base Bid: The project includes upgrading the fire suppression systems in B240 at Portsmouth Naval Shipyard to meet current code requirements. Hazardous materials will be encountered on wall and floor penetrations as well as lead paint dust that has settled on top of ceiling tiles. Option 03: provide additional quantities of sprinkler head replacements and hazardous material removal. But not limited to please review the specifications for more information. Prevailing Wages Apply. Contract duration = Base Bid - 265 calendar days Revised Liquidated Damages= Base Bid - $423.13 Per calendar day, Option 3 $109.56 per calendar day.
