Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a bridge / tunnel in Mount Vernon, Maine. Completed plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
Bids received after time willnot be accepted. Each Bidder must submit a double-sealed envelope with three copies of the bid documents, the outside of which must be clearly marked Blake Hill Road Bridge Replacement Project. Contractor Q&A period extend from the period Advertisement to 5:00 pm EDST Tuesday, June 24, 2025. The Mount Vernon Selectboard reserve theright to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive formalities. No proposal may be withdrawn for at least 30 days after receipt of proposals. Substantial work completion by November 15, 2025. All reseeding and final shoulder work shall be completed as part of the substantial completion. Additional reseeding and shoulder clean-up may be required the following spring, with a final project completion date no later than June 30, 2026.
