Renovation of a municipal facility in Redmond, Oregon. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 21,000-square-foot municipal facility.

Deschutes County (hereinafter referred to as "Owner") will receive bids for the removal and replacement of roof panels, trim, flashing, etc. of the Lower Roof Area of the Main Events Center at the Fair & Expo Center in Redmond, Oregon. The project consists of removal & replacement of approximately 21,000 sq. ft. of 24 gauge metal roof panels, repairs and/or replacement to the existing roof flashings, and individual roof components & assemblies. Work includes the removal and replacement of all damaged gutter systems and snow cleats and minor/incidental repairs to plumbing/mechanical penetrations/curbs. This scope of work will be coordinated with the Roof Purlin replacement project that has already been awarded. Site Walk-thru - 02/08/19 at 2:00 pm Last Day for Questions - 02/12/19 at 2:00 pm Addendum 1 Issued - 02/14/19 Subcontractor Disclosure shall be submitted no later than 4 p.m. on the same date in a separate envelope and shall be clearly marked, "SUBCONTRACTOR DISCLOSURE FOR FAIR & EXPO EVENTS CENTER ROOF PANEL REPLACEMENT PROJECT." The official bid clock is located in the office of the Deschutes County Facilities Building reception. Bids shall be made on the forms furnished by Owner, incorporating all contract documents, including all addenda and the Bid Bond or Cashier's Check for the minimum amount of 10 percent of the Bid Price. The envelope shall be clearly marked "CONSTRUCTION BID FOR FAIR & EXPO EVENTS CENTER ROOF PANEL REPLACEMENT PROJECT" and shall contain the name and address of the bidder. Since this project is for a public work, it is subject to the state prevailing rates of wage under ORS 279C.800 to 279C.870. No bids will be received or considered by Owner unless the bid contains a statement by the bidder that the bidder will comply with the provisions of ORS 279C.838 & 279C.840, "Payment of prevailing rate of wage; posting of rates and fringe benefit plan provisions." Each bid must contain a statement as to whether the bidder is a resident bidder, as defined in ORS 279A.120. Owner may reject any bid not in compliance with all prescribed bidding procedures and requirements and may reject for good cause any or all bids upon a finding of Owner that it is in the public interest to do so. The protest period for this procurement is seven (7) calendar days. All proposals submitted in response to this RFP shall become the property of Deschutes County and may be utilized in any manner and for any purpose by Deschutes County. Be advised that proposals and all documents submitted in response to this RFP are subject to public disclosure as required by applicable state and/or federal laws. If you intend to submit any information with your proposal which you believe is confidential, proprietary or otherwise protected from public disclosure (trade secret, etc.), you must separately bind and clearly identify all such material. The cover page of the separate binding must be red, and the header or footer for each page must provide as follows: "Not Subject to Public Disclosure." Where authorized by law, and at its sole discretion, Deschutes County will endeavor to resist disclosure of properly identified portions of the proposals. Bidders shall be licensed by OREGON CONSTRUCTION CONTRACTORS BOARD. All questions and bid walk-through clarifications will be addressed in an Addendum issued on Thursday, February 14, 2019.
