Site work and new construction of a fire / police facility in Tukwila, Washington. Completed plans call for the construction of a fire / police facility; and for site work for a fire / police facility.
In accordance with RCW 39.10, all base bids submitted at or over three hundred thousand ($300,000) must include either a bid security or cashier's check made payable to GC/CM in the amount of 5% of the Base Bid shall be submitted with each Bid Package. This Bid Bond shall serve as evidence of good faith and as a guarantee that, if awarded the Contract, the bidder will execute the Contract and provide a payment and performance bond as required. The GC/CM reserves the right to hold the bid security of the three lowest bidders until the successful bidder has entered into a contract and furnished the required documents. For any bids where the base bid total is under three hundred thousand ($300,000) no bid bond or bid security is required, however, inclusion will not constitute removal or preclusion from submitting a complete bid.
