Expected Contract Value $1,000,000 to $1,400,000 Bids must include a bid bond, with a corporate surety authorized to do business in Pennsylvania in accordance with the project specifications in the amount of 10% of the total bid amount, and various other documents, all posted through online. Davis-Bacon rates and Related Acts apply to this Project. Questions may be submitted through online on or before 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 27, 2019. Responses will be provided via online to all registered plan holders. In accordance with Executive Orders 11625, 12138, and Pen Argyl Borough MBE plan, the Contractor must utilize, to the greatest extent feasible, minority and/or women owned business concerns. Bidders are hereby notified that a MBE/WBE firm will be afforded full opportunity to bid without discrimination. The Borough of Pen Argyl reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids or portions of and to waive any informalities in bidding and to withhold award for a period of sixty days. Construction may begin June 10, 2019.
